This is a site about Davao City Mayor Rodrigo "Rody" "Digong" Roa Duterte, his advocacy on Federalism and the growing movement to draft him for President in 2016.
Duterte is currently undertaking a Listening Tour around the country to listen to the people and advance his advocacy on Federalism as an alternative in case of the failure of the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL). Duterte firmly believes that "war" is not an option and that there are other means to achieve peace in Mindanao and throughout the country.
In a larger context, Duterte advocates the shift to a federal-parliamentary form of government to replace our highly centralized unitary system. Nation-building should be a co-equal responsibility of all regions not just monopolized by what has been described as "Imperial Manila" where power and resources are concentrated.
